Used 13x4.5 Honest Abe Aluminum Snare Drum that has been extemely well taken care of. This snare has die cast hoops and a gorgeous blue to black lacquer burst finish.

Something very magical happens with thick metal shells. In the case of Aluminum, what you get is a drum that’s naturally very dry, very loud and very articulate. Honest Abe describes 6mm Aluminum overtones as neutral sounding with a short-medium length tail. Definitely the DRIEST drum Honest Abe makes, but in a very pleasing way. Tight low end, slightly scooped mids with an open and airy sounding top end.
