Honest Abe 14x7 Aluminum 6mm Heavy Shell Matte Black

Something very magical happens with thick metal shells. In the case of Aluminum, what you get is a drum that’s naturally very dry, very loud and very articulate. I would describe 6mm Aluminum overtones as neutral sounding with a short-medium length tail. Definitely the DRIEST drum Honest Abe makes, but in a very pleasing way. Tight low end, slightly scooped mids with an open and airy sounding top end.
