Vintage Astro 5-String Banjo.  Includes Case.  Astro is part of a hand full of 70s/80s era banjos made in Japan by Kasuga under various exported brand names.  Inspired by the Gibson design, these are solid intermediate banjos.  The Astro 5-String features a wooden resonator that projects well, making it ideal for bluegrass performance.  Block Fingerboard inlays, ornate Resonator Binding, and wooden arm rest are all welcome additions that indicate the quality level invested in construction.  The guitar style side mounted tuners, as opposed to rear slotted, means this banjo sits comfortably on guitar style hanger stands and wall hooks.
