Red Microphones was a company that Blue Microphones set up to sell mics direct to consumer on the web.  The Type B was later relaunched as the Blue Bottle Rocket Stage One and the Red Capsules were rebranded as Blue Bottle Caps (R0-R8 correspondingly renamed B0-B8).

The Red Lollipop Capsule (later renamed R8) is a versatile capsule suitable for a wide range of sources, from vocals to electric and acoustic guitars, close-miking of drums, drum overheads, percussion, piano, horns, strings and many other applications.

The Blue RED Type B is a transformerless Class A discrete solid state (FET) microphone with interchangeable capsules.  It includes the Red Lollipop Capsule, renamed as the R8 Capsule, and a shockmount.

The R-6 Capsule is a a Cardioid Kiwi.  It provides a classic warmth, larger than life sound.
