Early 2000 era 88 Weighted Key Programmable Synth. Uses a Balanced Action effect keybed similar to the Graded Hammer Yamaha P-Series keyboards from the same era, but with an equal weighted feeling for all keys and not graduated. Over 700 tones, 64 note polyphony, 16 part multitimbre, drum kits, 24bit Effects, and dedicated pitch and modulation wheels.

The S08 is equipped with a large, backlit LCD, onboard digital effects processing, the quick-access Category Search function, and provides SmartMedia card storage with a 128MB total capacity, for archiving custom sounds and SMF file storage for sequence playback. A USB port allows for seamless computer connectivity.
