Here's an Art Blakey-style swing chart that opens with a big shout and some tasty piano comping. It then gives way to a small ensemble setting within a big band framework featuring a soli by Alto, Tenor, Trumpet and Trombone. This well-scored original also offers solo space for the same players and offers some optional high notes for the lead trumpet. The combo and the full band continue to trade places in the spotlight, offering continued variety and changes in texture. An ideal festival chart!
