Carlos is a recent graduate from Western Washington University where he earned his BM in music composition and violin performance. He has served as a director and coach of Sinfonette (the youngest group of the Mt. Baker Youth Orchestra) and also as a private teacher to beginning violinists in the Bellingham area. Carlos aims to make music as fun as possible while learning to mature in the life long craft of playing the violin.
His experience as a tennis instructor for elementary school kids as well as instructing violin has deepened his passion for teaching and enriching lives with music. Though mostly used to teaching young beginners, Carlos has also taught adults. His methods and approach are unique to each student and are geared to those who are serious about learning and making beautiful music.
